RWPI stands against the warmongering by the bourgeois ruling classes of India and Pakistan and calls upon the masses of both the countries to not fall prey to any ongoing calls of warmongering, jingoism and ultranationalism by their respective ruling classes. RWPI calls upon both the governments of India and Pakistan to deescalate the situation immediately and not resort to any kind of warmongering. We demand that an impartial high-level probe into the Pahalgam attack must be initiated at the earliest by the Modi government. We call upon the common working masses to reject religious fundamentalism of all hues and stand for true and genuine secularism. The bourgeois rulers of our countries are hell bent on making us fight against each other and forget about our real problems. We need to recognise the real enemies who happen to be the ruling classes of our own country. We need to understand the real intent behind their conspiracies and focus on intensifying our real fight against the capitalist system which is engendering war, poverty, hunger, inflation, unemployment and economic hardships for millions and millions of common toiling masses. The interests and problems of the masses in both the countries are same and war is only going to increase our hardships. It is only the ruling classes of the two countries that are going to benefit from war and any war-like situation.

Pahalgam attack: Fascist Modi government is accountable for the deaths! Don’t fall prey to communal fascist hate-mongering!

Ruling classes and the religious fundamentalists on both sides of the border complement each other. Islamisation of Pakistan by the Islamic fundamentalists and Hinduisation of India by the Hindutva fascists serve the ruling classes of Pakistan and India. Those who support religious fundamentalist and fascist politics in any manner do not have any moral right to feel outraged by the Pahalgam-like terrorist incident. It only shows their hypocrisy. The communal fascist politics of RSS and BJP has converted every issue including that of Kashmir into a clash between Hindus and Muslims. Whatever happened in Pahalgam is a culmination of this hateful politics that has been taken to its height in the last decade of Modi-Shah government. This communal fascist government and the Sangh Parivar cannot escape from its culpability in the killing of innocent civilians. In fact, Hindu and Islamic fundamentalist forces have been responsible for increasing violence and bloodshed in the entire Indian subcontinent.

Elections through EVMs is a massive scam in itself, which ridicules the right of the people to express their collective will, i.e., to independently and transparently elect their representatives. It is surprising that, for a long time, the judiciary of this country has not heard the petitions on this specific issue, i.e., petitions raising valid questions on EVMs and demanding 100 percent VVPAT cross-verification with paper slips. The hearing process on the petition demanding 100 percent VVPAT cross-verification has started for the namesake; however, the possibility of any judgment over it before the elections is very low. This is what was expected when it took so long for this process to start. So to speak, regular notices were sent to the Election Commission by the Supreme Court demanding answers. The Election Commission says that the EVMs are safe, and the Supreme Court believes it every time! This, despite there being considerable evidence of the EVM scam!
